RS232 and RS485 i would like to see the code for communication done using RS232 and a separate code for RS485 . communication is done between software under test and a simulator in a single PC.

It´s fine! But the only defect is: it can´t display in hexadecimal the data received. Otherwise it´s great!

Guys. The software is working well. The installation went just fine.I am monitoring a data stream and capturing it in a log file. When I open the log file in notepad, I do not see line feeds or carriage returns. The data is continuous, rather than displaying each record on its own line.I have played a lot with the parms (CR/LF, etc). How can I make a better adjustment.Thanks,Don SalterDFW, TX

HelloHercules is very user friendly. It does excatly what I expect from a Port Reader and is very easy to use.I appreciate especially the fact that Hecules gives access to UDP data, which is not common in that type of application.Hélène Burton

Serial Comms Windows Std Serial Comm Lib for delphi appears fairly good but it is overpriced and no better than AsyncFree, which costs nothing

The Docklight RS232 serial data program was exactly what we needed to capture customer generated code for analysis. In less than an hour I had configured the capture process to display easily viewable decoded commands to aid in our analysis. I have already recommended this program to several of my engineering friends. The interface and setup is very easily and intuitive. I only needed to consult the help manual for a couple of tricky things I wanted to do. Excellent!

It`s very good & easy use.. this's Library very useful for me, more than anything else I have tried some Library and newly by using WSC (Serial Windows Standard Comm. Library) all problems of my software development is finished. Very easy understood and compatible with Microsoft Windows. But only one problems for me, still too costly its price for me.
